Social Skills Groups

 

  • Social Skills Group (Ages 13-16)
    Wednesdays from 4:15pm – 5:00pm

    This Social Skills Group is for teens ranging in age from 13-16. The clients in this group are working on advanced social skills related to improving their ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to the social and emotional needs of others in their changing environments. Every client has individualized goals that they help to create and that are tracked weekly in order to experience success while engaging with their peers both in and out of the group setting. 

     
  • Girls' Social Skills Group (Ages 12-15)
    Tuesdays from 3:45p - 4:30pm

    The Girls' Social Skills Group is a group for pre-teen and young teen girls. The
    clients in this group are working on advanced social skills related to navigating
    the complexities of young female relationships, navigating bullying, social
    acceptance of self and others, issues related to puberty, and developing an 
    improved awareness of their reactions toward others. The members of this group
    have individualized and larger group goals that promote their social growth both
    in and outside of the group setting.  

     
  • Upper Elementary/Middle School Social Skills Group (Ages 10-13)
    Tuesdays from 4:30pm - 5:15pm

    The Upper Elementary/Middle School Social Skills Group is for adolescents ranging in age from 10-13. The clients in this group are working on intermediate-advanced social skills related to improving their ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to the social and emotional needs of others in their changing environments. Every client has individualized goals that they help to create and that are tracked weekly in order to experience success while engaging with their peers both in and out of the group setting.
