Dr. Carrie N. Dilley

In my practice, as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I emphasize the importance of every individual knowing that they have been understood. I am passionate about helping others know themselves better and I meet my clients wherever they are regardless of age, area of struggle, or disability. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families/couples. I am an expert in diagnosing and treating individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Sensory Processing Disorders, Learning Disabilities, behavioral challenges, and impulse control  issues. I provide comprehensive psychological services including, individual, family and group therapy, parent coaching, psychological assessment, and school consultations. My clients range from infants to adults.

My unique and strength-based treatment approach recognizes that change must take place both in and outside of therapy for genuine and lasting growth to occur. I utilize a relational style in combination with empirically supported behavioral approaches to assist my clients and their families with making positive changes. I recognize that each client has a unique set of strengths and challenges, which is why I offer individually tailored and highly specialized treatment to facilitate personal growth.

I have extensive experience working in public, non-public, and private school settings, and facilitating parents with navigating the IEP process and requesting school accommodations. I also provide parent coaching and school consultation. I conduct psychodiagnostic, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessments related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Processing Disorders, and differential diagnoses. I also provide Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) evaluations.

Outside of my private practice, I was the founder of the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association's Child & Adolescent Development Special Interest Group, and served as chair of this group for the initial five years.

My services include the following:
