- Young Adult Life Transition Group (Ages 18-29)
Time: This Group Meets Virtually on Wednesdays from 10:00AM-10:45AM

The young adult life transition group focuses on developing answers to the following types of life questions: What classes should I take to get into the career I really want? and Should I live at home to save money? In essence: Where am I going and who's going with me? These are the kinds of questions we are wise to ask as we transition out of high school and through our twenties. The group affords the opportunity to do so in a supportive atmosphere with like-minded others.

Students have the opportunity to practice skills learned in group and provide support for one another. Group Topics Include: Practicing relaxation and mindfulness strategies, understanding how anxiety is manifested in the body, learning how thoughts and emotions are connected, helping students to change their negative thought patterns, and improving self-esteem and self-efficacy.
